Our Story
Meminī was born from a simple idea: that the things we seek are often the things we have simply forgotten.
The name Meminī is Latin for I remember.
Not memory in the ordinary sense, but a deeper remembering - a return to intuition, to the quiet knowledge of who we are beneath the noise of everyday life.
The idea for Meminī emerged over many years and through many seemingly unrelated paths. As a student of literature and photography, a yoga student, and later through work in the medical field, founder Rachel Fox became fascinated by the ways people create meaning in their lives. Again and again, she found herself returning to the same question: What helps us remember who we are when life is pushing us to forget?
Inspired by centuries-old traditions of prayer beads and sacred adornment, Meminī creates modern heirlooms designed to accompany moments of reflection, ritual, and transformation. Each piece is handcrafted from natural gemstones and precious materials chosen for their beauty, symbolism, and enduring presence.
We think of our pieces as wearable altars: objects that invite pause, hold intention, and become infused with the stories, milestones, prayers, and desires of the people who wear them.
At Meminī, we do not believe meaning is found in the object itself. Meaning emerges through attention - the moment you reach for a bead, set an intention, take a breath, or remember what matters most to you in life.
What begins as jewelry becomes something more personal: a touchstone, a source of comfort, and a reminder of our inner strength and innate capacity to cultivate peace, even when the world around us feels uncertain.
